Who we are

This website is operated by Micromobility Strategies LLC (“Micromobility Strategies”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through micromobilitystrategies.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

If you have a question about anything in this policy, email hello@micromobilitystrategies.com.

What we collect

This site does not have accounts, a shop, or a contact form. The information we hold falls into two groups.

  • Information you send us. If you email an address listed on this site, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We keep that correspondence so we can answer it and keep a record of the conversation.
  • Basic technical information. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the time of the request — in server logs. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not run a third-party tracking pixel.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No other third-party service receives information about your visit.

If we add analytics or advertising measurement in future, we will update this policy before doing so.

How we use information

We use what we collect to reply to inquiries, to evaluate potential business relationships, to keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — our website host and our email provider — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is retained for as long as the business relationship or inquiry is live, and afterwards for as long as we need it for legal, tax, or record-keeping reasons. Server logs are retained on our host's standard schedule, which is a short rolling window.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to limit how we use it. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under those laws, and you will not be treated differently for exercising them.

To make a request, email hello@micromobilitystrategies.com. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to correspondence to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

International visitors

We operate from the United States, and information you send us is processed there. If you are contacting us from outside the United States, you are sending your information to a country whose data-protection rules may differ from those where you live.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
